Amos H. Good (Benny) began working with the insurance industry in 1949. Carrying Personal and Commercial lines, Benny soon developed a strong reputation and a loyal client base in the central Pennsylvania market. Over the years, the firm grew in product offerings, staff size, and clientele. Benny's son, Tim, started with the agency in 1976, but then left for several years to drive tractor-trailer. This business move was crucial to the firm's future direction: Tim returned to the firm in 1983 and brought first-hand knowledge of the specific needs faced by businesses in the transportation industry.

In the mid-80's, the firm made a decided shift to primarily focus on top-notch coverage for the transportation industry.

Today, Good's Insurance Agency, Inc. has grown to a staff of over a 20 insurance professionals. While we still emphasize transportation coverage, we have a full line of products available in commercial lines and personal lines.
